FirstRoot is a Benefit Corporation that supports schools in implementing Participatory Budgeting, a democratic process in which a group of students determines how to invest a shared budget to improve a school.
Students experience true agency and stewardship over their futures, learning through their own experiences how money really works.
The talk will include an overview of Participatory Budgeting and share how FirstRoot plans to support all schools, around the world, in making their schools better.
